New Orleans Clarinet Player
New Orleans...nothing quite like it, especially when you come across a solitary clarinet player leaning on a lamp
post late at night...or was that early the next morning?
This sculpture was inspired by real life experiences
in that city by the Mississippi in 1999. It is 7 inches tall with a lamp on a brick street.

to the "keys" on the clarinet, the pursed cheeks and closed eyes of the player.
